Soaring 50 stories and totaling nearly 1.5 million square feet, the all-glass building offers a pleasant contrast of crisp, modern interiors with its cosmopolitan and varied urban exterior surroundings. Interestingly, Thanksgiving Tower’s dramatically renovated lobby engages the surrounding streets while the public realm surrounding the building, in turn, engages the building’s occupants.
Woods Capital hired James Carpenter Design Associates of New York City to bring about a dramatic remodel of the architecture, art, design and engineering of Thanksgiving Tower. Woods Capital has expended more than $37 million on the building’s complete curb-to-core renovation of all common areas and building systems.
Developed by the highly-regarded Dallas-based Hunt family, Thanksgiving Tower was built in 1982 on the site of the historic Palace Theatre. Today, it is the premier office address in Dallas. With best-in-class tenants over the last 34 years such as Santander Consumer USA, Gray Reed & McGraw and Kane Russell Coleman & Logan, Thanksgiving Tower is truly a legacy turned icon.
